Celebrating like the”Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels and sacking like just one other Washington Redskins player before him, Ryan Kerrigan has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
Even though Kerrigan will turn 31 his daughter Lincoln was welcomed to the world in March and becoming a father has motivated his own career to be elongated by Kerrigan.
“I’d like my daughter and more future kids to have the ability to remember some aspect of my soccer career,” Kerrigan informed the Rundown podcast via the team website. “I really don’t want them hearing me speak about football and like,’Oh, daddy’s living before, like he probably was not even quite good.’
“I need them to be able to experience a great deal of the fun that comes with being a professional soccer player and remember the experiences that they have.”

No indicators of a slowed measure have shrunk Kerrigan however, as he’s racked up double-digit sacks in three successive seasons — and four of the previous five — with three consecutive Pro Bowl selections.
