Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson doesnt anticipate Victor Camarasa to leave the club in January.
The Spanish midfielder, who scored five goals at a season-long loan last season, joined Crystal Palace on loan from Real Betis at the summer having an option to purchase for #15m at the close of the season.
He featured as an exclusive replacement in several other games and has played only five Premier League moments to the club.
Reports in Spain suggest Betis are currently investigating the possibility of cancelling the loan in order to sell him at the January transfer window, however, Hodgson has denied those insists Camarasa will eventually be given his opportunity and reports.
Theres no news on that, he has been training really well. His hardship, I suppose, is to come in a time when we have an awful lot of midfield players, he said.
As far as I am concerned Im pleased to be working together with him here, Im going on him remaining but who knows I suppose.
Its never been possible for him to break in since hes also in very difficult contest with Max Meyer. They are both offensive players, so they both bring us something different, we enjoy both of them.
The only real act for Crystal Palace of camarasa came from Colchester in the second round of the Carabao Cup as they had been knocked out on penalties from the League Two side.
Hodgson has praised the way and has advocated Camarasa to remain patient.
His job in coaching has been quite great and he has been exceptionally professional and that I admire him as a player, the director added.
Obviously, like all players, hes not alone, theyre happy if they are not playing at the team but they have to accept that.
You know we have obtained 20 match outfield players and that I am only able to play 10, so Im afraid Ive made 10 pretty unhappy with my group selection.
