CPL Final: All you need to know as Guyana Amazon Warriors take on Barbados Tridents

Either Guyana Amazon Warriors or Barbados Tridents, that meet at Saturday nights final live on Sky Sports Cricket will win the 2019 Caribbean Premier League.
Guyana are looking after finishing as runners-up on four times, while the Tridents will probably be redeemed their second crown having defeated on Guyana from the 2014 showpiece.
Each of the buildup has under way at 9.30pm, with the very first ball set to be routed down at 10pm. Here is all you want to know in front of the game…
Who are the type team?
That might be Guyana, whove won all 11 of their games in the tournament of this year. Shoaib Maliks guys went 10 out of 10 in the group phase after beating each of the rivals twice seeing off Tridents for a third time from the very first play-off qualifier to attain their fifth final.
Finals are not their thing correct?
Right! The Amazon Warriors have lost all four of the CPL finals before falling short against Tridents at 2014, going down to Jamaica Tallawahs in the inaugural edition in 2013, Tallawahs again in 2016 and then Knight Riders a year.
So would this time be different?
An 11-match winning series has left Guyana around the crest of a wave, while they have three batsmen among the greatest seven run-scorers, with Malik having managed 313 and Chandrapaul Hemraj 298 and Brandon King leading the way with 453, having pummelled 132 of these from only 72 balls against Tridents last time out.
Thats a little!
Yep, 11 sixes and 10 fours in the surface of the sequence as the 24-year-old blazed the maximum score ever seen from the CPL. The Jamaican cracked four borders in a row away Jason Holder early in his knock and three in a row off Shakib Al Hasan towards the end of it. King T20 ton followed in the contest, including 51 against Tridents.
Can Barbados stop King?
They may have learnt while at American and Holder leg-spinner Hayden Walsh Jr the Tridents possess two of the few wicket-takers not to bowl following his past 2 blitzkriegs . Walsh Jr (21) and Holder (15) sandwiching veteran Guyana tweaker Imran Tahir (16).
Who else shall we keep an eye on?
Shimron Hetmyer and guyanas Nicholas Pooran prefer to provide it a wallop, though have been quiet so far with 3 fifties between these. Perhaps they will be inspired by the point? Seamer Romario Shepherd also has maintained 12 wickets this year, including a four-wicket haul, with eight coming over the 3 matches against Tridents. Spinner Chris Green has chipped in with 13 scalps.
Barbados most prolific batsman has been Johnson Charles (376) followed closely by JP Duminy (291), who suffered a hamstring complaint in Thursdays win over Trinbago Knight Riders that shot Tridents into their first final since 2015.
Any Language interest?
On the Barbados side, yes. Alex Hales has neglected to pass off fifty in 11 innings but has threatened a score on occasion, while fellow Nottinghamshire man Harry Gurney has maintained 11 wickets.
Can Barbados deny in-form Guyana a CPL crown? Find out live from 9.30pm Saturday on Sky Sports Cricket (channel 404).
