Eddie Jones says England have plans if Typhoon Faxai hits Rugby World Cup

England coach Eddie Jones has warned the typhoon could have a major disruption on the World Cup however, says he has contingency plans in place to deal with this.
Typhoon Faxai moved northwest on the Pacific towards eastern Japan threatening to make landfall near Tokyo the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
England are due to depart on Sunday for Japan along with also the year’s 15th typhoon – packing winds of up to 180kph – will be anticipated to reach regions of the Kanto area between late Sunday and early Monday.
Tournament organisers have planned for the chance of needing to relocate teams or to move games to venues.
The stadiums for the first two games of England, from the United States at Kobe and Tonga in Sapporo, have roofs and Jones states the team will train indoors on synthetic turf if needed.
“It is going to influence the World Cup, there is little doubt about it,” Jones said after his negative 37-0 win over Italy in England’s final warm-up game in Newcastle.
“You’ve only got to ride , be adaptable and figure out how you can manage the situation.
“Once the typhoon comes, you simply can’t go outside. It’s basically a lock-down. It can vary between being violent to mild.
“The problem is that can’t go outdoors but we’ve got thoughts of what we do if a typhoon ceased us training outside. We are going to instruct on artificial turf indoors.”
After enjoying four warm-up games on pitches, Jones is preparing for a shift in states.
Jones, with a mom and is married to Hiroko Jones, a woman he met while teaching at Sydney, is familiar with the potential perils, having lived for periods in Japan.
Before being appointed as head coach of the national team ahead of the 2015 Rugby World Cup in 2012, he coached club groups.
“South Africa played with Japan [on Friday] and it had been quite hot and very humid,” he said. “There was a lot of lost ball, it had been rather fatty, and that could increase the sum of hanging”
