Southampton defender Wesley Hoedt has joined Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp on a loan deal.
The loan agreement also has an option to purchase at the conclusion of the current campaign.
Hoedt made 32 appearances throughout his debut season with the team and joined Southampton from Lazio in August 2017.
The 25-year-old combined Celta Vigo on loan for the remaining part of the effort, but was deemed surplus to requirements from the made a 13 appearances last season before the coming of boss Ralph Hasenhuttl in St Mary’s.
