Crystal Palace have disputed claims created by Gemma Bryan after falling prey to a severe knee injury she wasn’t encouraged by the group.
Bryan hasn’t played since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear in April and chose on Friday to social media to describe her present situation.
The 32-year-old, that has scored over 100 goals for the south east London club stated she has received”zero communication” from Crystal Palace Women and has been made to wait for operation throughout the NHS.
Bryan stated she’s”devastated” that a different player at the club has received club backing and support after experiencing the same injury but Crystal Palace Girls say that her assertions are incorrect.
“Gemma’s claim that another participant with a similar harm has obtained different levels of support and treatment is factually incorrect,” a Crystal Palace Women’s statement read.
“Gemma remained fully compensated, outside the terms of her agreement, before the close of the season when her registration obviously expired.
“She has been also provided continuing continued accessibility to rehabilitation support beyond the conclusion of last season.”
