After Kevin Hart resigned from hosting the Oscars, ABC and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences made a decision to not have a sponsor with the event of this year.
However there are theories which Whoopi Goldberg, who has hosted the Oscars, will serve as a surprise host this season.

Why is it that people believe the event might be hosted by Goldberg?
